Shower Time Calculator
We all do it. But have you ever wondered how many **full days** you've spent singing in the rain?
Plus, check your water footprint!
And used about — liters of water!
That's roughly the same as...
How We Calculate This
The math is refreshing simple. We take your average shower length (in minutes), multiply it by how many times you shower a week, and then project that over your lifetime (based on your age).
For water usage, we assume a standard shower head flow rate of roughly **10 liters per minute**. Older shower heads might use more, eco-friendly ones use less, but it gives us a good "splashpark" estimate!
Shower FAQ
How long is the "ideal" shower?
Dermatologists often recommend sticking to 5-10 minutes. Anything longer can strip your skin of natural oils, leading to dryness.
Does showering colder save water?
Indirectly, yes! People tend to take shorter showers when the water is colder, which naturally reduces water usage (and energy bills).
This calculator is a fun estimate. Actual water flow depends on your specific hardware and pressure.
